Have to ask though, you’re a Georgia resident, why aren’t you looking at Georgia Tech, and why are you looking at all of the UCs?

I didn’t see the fact that you’re a published author. That’ll give you a little pull at UCB, UCLA, USC, and UT Austin, but I still don’t think that it’s enough to get you into any of them. But you should be good for the rest.

I feel like the answer is in the question, I want to get out of georgia and would prefer to land in California haha

Just a few more people give it a whirl right dont ya?

Oh look another chancer!..oh I guess that was just dust

being published is definitely your selling point, scores are a bit low for duke and Berkeley, but your ECs are strong. Big reach for duke and berkely, match for the others :)

Alright that sounds pretty great! I honestly didn’t know a published fantasy book would have that much weight! Anyone else?

haha dont listen to previous posters, being a publishing author is great! As, or even better, than a presitgious internship or something! I see all the ucs except for UCB and UCLA as matches because of that writing you have there, but unfortunately I truly am not sure for UCLA Berkeley and the others

Good Luck!

Thanks man I appreciate it!!! Hopefully it helps that I wanna be a lit or English major!

You’re in at UM, UW, and Ohio State. They’re ths only ones I know anything about, but I think you’ve got great chances at all the others.

I’m really surprised to hear that Miami is an “in” for me, I expected it to be one of the harder ones to reach for from my list!

While you might not be “top-tier” academically, your publication is impressive and makes you stand out. I definitely think you have the ability to get in, especially EA.

Well that’s good to hear since I applied EA :)

Btw which has a better linguistics program comparatively? UCSB or UMiami?
