<p>My stats are on the American University Official Acceptance Thread (first post) just in case anyone is wondering.</p>
<p>I deleted what I said here for posterity...but it involved someone less qualified than me (and I'm pretty unqualified) for NYU being nearly assured by her GC of her acceptance via the school. </p>
<p>Thankfully, this was revoked later on in the day.</p>

<p>Right. A school would never ask for your financial aid form unless the one you submitted was incorrect. They don't really care if you apply for financial aid; not everyone does.</p>

<p>Correct, asking you to clarify something on the finaid form means nothing. Its not going to have any bearing on whether you get in or not.</p>
