I want to try to get into ANY medical program (7 year preferred)
Suggestions and CHances NEEDED
like PennState, Rutgers

if you know of any other medical schools let me know.. thanks

if u want to go to med school, i recommend just going to ur state school, paying in-state tuition, then going to med school. Since I’m Indian too and I used to live in NJ, I know TONS of people that went to Rutgers for pre-med, then went on to med school. You should go to a cheap college for pre-med so that you can make sure to afford med school (and with this economy, and considering how expensive living is in NJ, thats really important).

Definitely bump up your SAT’s; you have an OK shot at some med school programs if you do that. I wouldn’t suggest doing a combined BA/MD program; you won’t get the typical college experience and you will take classes over the summer, especially in an accelerated BA/MD program. Here is a list of every BA/MD program in the US, hope it helps.

really good ECs and stats at all but try to increase your SAT score. If it’s something about 2150+ I’m sure you would achieve some of your goals (I cannot tell you something about the schools you are attending because I am not interested in medical programs) Good Luck :)

Rutgers is very safe. If i were you i would try for Johns Hopkins. Try and get that SAT CR up to a 700 and id say you have a good shot if you show a real passion for medicine.
