Headlining the move is Dr. Arthur Toga, co-director of the Division of Brain Mapping in the Neuropsychiatric Institute at UCLA. He directs the Laboratory of Neuro Imaging (LONI) which will come to SC in time for the fall term. Dr. Paul Thompson, professor of neurology and psychiatry, will also move to the new USC Institute for Neuroimaging and Informatics. Thompson leads the ENIGMA Project, the largest brain imaging study ever conducted.

Involved in the move will be a supercomputer, wet labs, production studio and more than four petabytes of data. The team will also bring international research collaborations.

USC already is the home of the Zilkha Neurogenetic Institute at Keck and the Brain and Creativity Institute at Dornsife. The Brain Institute is led by world renowned Drs. Antonio and Hanna Damasio. Drs. Damasio's honors and awards take an entire page to list.
