Can anyone tell me which college has the best undergraduate neuroscience major that will present the most opportunity for my "d"? As a parent, the dilemma I'm facing is whether USC is worth both she and I going into debt. Her vocational plans are to become an anesthesiologist. Thanks!

i cant speak for USC's neurosci program but UCLA's is pretty strong. with that also comes a lot of competition though, but if she can pull out a solid GPA as a UCLA neurosci major, then she'll stand good chances at getting into med schools.

All I can tell you is that UCLA Neuroscience is very competitive and that research opportunities for undergraduates are plentiful. It seems that one-third of every research headline posted in the UCLA Newsroom comes from the Neuroscience department.

Seriously? That's wonderful. Hopefully, she will keep busy. Do you know if there are a lot of people that major in this area?
