Look for college with REAL strong science programs and also great social science programs

I have lots of academic interests but none of them are passionate enough to lead to a major or life-long occupation. Thus, I’m searching for schools that are strong in most of my potential interests: biology, physics, political sciences, economics, math. Again I’m not feeling super passionate about these disciplines, so while taking them into consideration, please recommend me schools that are generally VERY in hard sciences(top 7), and also fairly strong in social sciences (around top 15).

I’m doing campus visits in Monday and Tuesday, so advice would be immensely helpful.

Few undergraduate programs can be measured in the way for which you have asked. However, for a scholarly consideration of economics departments, you can search for these analyses (IDEAS): “Economics Departments at Liberal Arts Colleges” and “US Economics Departments.”

Top 15 schools are almost invariably strong in both of these areas.

Actually, @TomSrOfBoston , MIT has tremendous social sciences. I’ll give you Caltech, although its poli sci and econ majors are outstanding, it only offers a few social science options.
