I am looking for a list of colleges where I should start my search....
I want a small school or a small program within a large school in which The faculty is accessible and classes are small.
Right now I want to do industrial engineering. I also want a school with multiple strong programs that I could switch to if I wanted. But right now I want to look mainly at industrial engineering

Im in Texas (I dont want to go to UT austin) at a top 100 in the nation high school.
Here are my quick stats:
4.00 unweighted gpa
5.40 weighted gpa
216 psat (hopefully natl merit!) (SAT pending), 80 on the math
The whole bundle of AP Classes.
Plenty of extracurriculars, sports, volunteer etc.

I would greatly appreciate a list of Colleges that I can look into.

And does anyone have The US news undergrad program rankings, I dont want to pay for them :P

Check out Rice as well...smaller school and great engineering programs.

Does rice really have great engineering? I was looking at rice but didn't see them high on many ranking lists. Also, does michigan ann-arbor have any sort of engineering honors?

Rice has great engineering...it just doesn't offer industrial engineering. You could major in engineering statistics or computational/applied math, which are closely related to industrial engineering.

UMich does have an honors program...but I don't know anything about it and if it applies to the engineering department.

Rice dominates, especially if you're National Merit. And Union is a good safety. The e-school there is smaller than the rest of the liberal arts portion, and they've got lots of options. I visited a couple months ago and found it nice, but a little too frat/sorority oriented for my tastes.
