I'm looking for a friend who goes to Yale. Some friends told me to try Facebook or Yale admissions, but instead I thought it might be better posting a message for those who are interested than directly contacting people.

My future plan is applying for an architectural graduate program in the USA after I graduate here in my country.Especially Yale has always been on the top of my list.I know it is very hard to get in,but I believe I still have time.

I wanted to make some e-mail friends/penpals who go to Yale who can tell me about classes, life, education, people, application process from primary source. As I said I have at least 4 years for my graduation from my current university, and I want to put this time in good use.

We can compare classes here and at Yale, talk about architecture, cultures, and I can teach you about our culture and language if you like:)

I’m a current undergrad at Yale so I’m not sure I’m what you’re looking for, i have no idea what the architecture program is like…but feel free to PM me about other stuff at Yale! :)

“Important thing is having friends who go to Yale”… ummm? What?

I think you should focus on getting the best marks possible, and then getting through your undergraduate education (since Architecture is a grad program), THEN if/when you get accepted to Yale, come by and make some friends.

just a nice advice, don’t put all your eggs in one basket. I know you really really really want to go to Yale, but please don’t let that be your ONLY school you want to attend.

thatguy100, ummm, what? Harsh much??? The guy wants to learn about Yale from someone at Yale, it’s not like he wants a friend so he can get in… cut him some slack, plenty of people ask the same question.

Such a misunderstanding.
I meant I want to know people who studies at Yale -Yale students- to talk about Yale, not want them to help me get in Yale in easy way, which is absolutely not what I look for.

Thanks for advice,Yale is the school I want most (like a goal),if I cant get in (4 years later) I will of course try other schools here or in usa or in another country.
