Looking For A Right College on Fashion Merchandising

I am currently looking to major in fashion merchandising. I am a student from China, so I want to know everyone’s experience in their school if you are studying in the same major. Please share your info and experience with me, so I can make a selection sometimes soon.

Thanks!

–What is your SAT/ACT and GPA?
–Do you require financial aid? How much can you afford to pay? (Total cost might vary between $35K to $65K.)
–What are the chances you would switch majors? How committed are you to the major?

Fashion Institute of Technology-> Low cost, well respected state school
The New School
Savannah College of Art and Design
Columbia College Chicago

Massachusetts College of Art and Design, The Art Institute of Philadelphia and Moore College of Art and Design are other schools you can consider.

Marist has an excellent program. It’s a residential college with ties to NYC.
SUNY Oneonta has an excellent program with FIT, too.

WashU in St. Louis has an outstanding program too.

OP what are your stats?

I know University of Delaware has a fashion merchandising program and its a good school. Don’t know anything about the program though

OP…All good suggestions posted above. Syracuse University offers a Fashion Merchandising major within its Retail Management program. This is an AASCB approved program through the Martin J. Whitman School of Business so you will need good quantitative skills. SU also offers a Fashion Design Major through the College of Visual and Performing Arts. SU’s student population is about 12% international.
Good luck with your college search.

I also vote for Marist College!
