Looking for a roommate to live in an apartment with (FPF & didn't get housing)...

i'm an FPF admit who was unlucky and didn't receive a housing offer. i'm looking into apartments on calrentals but some of these apartments are pricey. if you in the same situation and looking for a place to live, please send me a PM.

my name is tom, i'm 18, fpf admit looking for a place to live and someone decent to split the rent with.

lol, pm if interested.

Have you tried Westminster House?

i just looked it up and the christian theme doesn't really do it for me.

thanks for the suggestion though, are there any more housing buildings like that one?

Telegraph Commons, but I have heard that one is really bad.

^really...? because i was looking for one in the spring and the pictures looked nice... =/

Yeah the pictures from telegraph commons are nice but I've heard a lot of bad things about this.

I have no idea what to do about housing..

I'm in a dorm this year but next fall I'd rather live somewhere else not so crazy expensive. So if you still need a roommate then... haha

I thought about the co-ops but after looking at the categories of applicants with priority, I realized that I'd have none. so that's a stretch.

What websites are good for finding apartments or for finding people near campus who rent rooms in their houses?

hey,

i'm looking for a roommate for a possibly great place in a frat house.

About the frat house:

On Piedmont & Durant (next to international house). It is a frat house, with dorm style living (i.e. shared bathroom, kitchen, etc). It has a pool table, entertainment system in living room, and a sand volleyball court in the front yard. It has parking structure but all spots are taken. Cleaning service 3x every 2 weeks during normal semester.

About the room: $4,000 per semester (i.e. $444 per person per month)

it's technically a room with two walk in closets. the walk in closets can fit about a full sized bed. so its like a two bedroom apt. with a living room. the walk in closets have a door-size entrance to each one, but no door. they have shower curtains set up as doors.

comes with utitlies paid for including elec, water, garbage, and internet.

Move in is first of four installments ($500 per person).

Hey, what do you guys think about Cloyne Court Coops?

acidalice: craigslist. craigslist. craigslist.

actually, i am still hoping people drop out of housing for FPF and i get a spot. they send out their second round of offers this friday.

lottery numbers 1-150 get housing. i'm 160.

o.o

^wait, i thought i saw in an email that they sent out approx. 350 housing offers, you're 160 and didnt get an offer???? Man then me being 355, i have no hope

Yeah I'm number 288, and I didn't get housing, so I emailed them and I found out that your lottery number is by gender--so slim chance if you're anywhere over 200 because I doubt more than 50 people are going to turn down dorms.

I have no idea what to do about housing becuase the co-ops are full and the gorill house is full and I haven't heard back from any other houses, and I don't really want to live in an apartment.
