<p>Im going to Loyola University Maryland in the fall, and I don't want to be paired up with a roommate I don't like. I want someone who's not messy or a big partier. I'm very focused on my studies, but I can still have fun. I tried to find someone on Facebook, but all the girls seem to be people I wouldn't get along with. If you're going or know someone who is an needs a roommate, please, I really am nervous I will get stuck with someone horrible.</p>
<p>Backstrom, Hoping to set your mind at ease a bit, I offer this information. Our son did not set out to find a roommate and Loyola put him in a suite with three other guys. He and his roommate had a room that shared a bathroom area with two other guys. The four suite mates were so well matched the four will be living together next year. They are, what will likely prove to be, lifelong friends.</p>
<p>I’m not suggesting that you should not set out to find a roommate, but just wanted to let you know if you are not successful, leave it to Loyola’s housing experts and you may end up with new friends who you’ll enjoy for all of your years at Loyola.</p>
