Looking for colleges!

Hello, I'm a junior just starting her college search. I know that it's a slow process, but I don't feel like I'm making any progress in finding what I want in a school, just what I really dislike. I'm from a small, liberal town in NJ. I don't have any issues about going away for school, but my parents do. In fact, I want out of this very liberal enviroment so bad! The students, teachers, and parents from my town and school do not share my values or ideals and it was the one negative moving here from a small town in Arizona. I miss my more Southern feel and conservative vaules. So that's what I want in a college. Somewhere on the east coast that has conservative values, (not too conservative, but more republican than democratic, for sure) and is smaller. I am looking to be a history major, or something in the humanities area. I like to go out, and spend a lot of time with my friends, along with clubs (Young Republicans, Student Council, and Yearbook) so I'm looking to continue that into college. ANY HELP WOULD BE SO APPRECIATED

JMO but AZ is not southern in feel. What can your family afford? What are your stats (GPA, scores, etc)?

Check out Bucknell, Wake Forest, Washington & Lee, and Duke – but this does depend on what your stats are. Can you share these?
