Looking for info for a community college transfer to NYU

<pre><code> I am new to this site and was looking for information about What To Do to better my chances of transferring to NYU from a community college in California. I am almost done with my AA degree here and want to further my education and NYU is my top choice!

I did not do very well in High School and did not even take the SAT, but i am trying to get my act together in college. Please give me any and all suggestions as to what i should do to better my chances of acceptance. I am looking to major in Communications and Marketing.

<p>Hey, I had no luck in my own thread so I’ll try this one. I currently attend a CC in NYC. I’m in my early 20s have a 3.85 GPA, member of honors, poli sci, and phi theta kappa club. I have 3 securities licenses and have worked for Chase Bank doing investments. My high school GPA was pretty low about a C+ and my SATs were about 1800. What’re my chances of transferring to NYU CAS for Econ?</p>
