Looking for quick imput.... thanks

Hi, my goal on the ACT is 32-34. I took the test already and got a 30, but an 11 on writing which I am happy with. Would it be OK/good idea if next time I took the test w/o writing, so I could send in my higher composite with my 11 writing? Would it be relatively bad to send in my 30 composite just so selective colleges could see my 11 writing? I really dont want to take writing again, b/c I am fried by the end of the test. Since this might be confusing, this is what I mean below.

Colleges could either see this

Feb ACT...... 30 comp, 11 writing
April ACT......32 comp, no writing

OR they could see just this

April ACT.......32 comp, 10 writing

all right don't everybody answer at once.....kidding, but I'd like to hear one or two opinions b/c the deadline to register is tomorrow...

thanks

I think it's better to take the ACT with writing. What if you get a 34 on the April test? You'll still have to send your 30 because it has the writing and your April test doesn't. Chances are, you'll do well on the writing again. Why take the chance of having to send a lower score?

send the writing with the 10.
