My S took the ACT in December and February and got virtually the same score -around a 27. He only took the writing portion in February and got an 11. I told him he shouldn't bother taking the writing again, because I felt his score was solid. He said that he felt his composite score would hopefully go up for the next test...and that he didn't want to submit his writing score from the Feb. test with that kind of composite. He thought he should take the writing again in June to hopefully coincide with a better composite.

Any thoughts????
