Any guidelines on looking for safety schools? I live in California and am aiming for top tier colleges (all reaches) but my stats are highly competitive. I’m looking for undergrad business programs and I could use some pointers on good undergrad business programs with schools that I can consider safety.
I think if you are competitive to get into UCLA or UCB, CPSLO could be your safety, its affordable and not too difficult to get in.
Can we get your test scores and GPA? Preferences for size and geographic region? “Highly competitive” means different things to different people.
SLO has a 30% acceptance rate for Bus Admin, not a school I would call a safety. It will depend as @hufflepuffle stated what are your test scores and GPA? UCI/UCR/SDSU would be good safety schools if are “highly competitive” applicant.
Hi! Thanks for the help! Here are my test scores:
SAT 2 Bio:780
SAT 2 Math 2:800
SAT 2 Chem:800
SAT 1:2350 Super-scored
GPA unweighted: 3.9, UC Weighted: 4.25
Not really any preferences for size and geographic region (as long as it’s not rural)
