Looking for schools with good pre-med programs!

Hello! I am currently a junior looking for colleges and I would really like to study to go to medical school. I'm not looking into any Ivy League schools because I know they are probably out of my reach. I prefer colleges in the East coast or around the Great Lakes but California could be okay too.

So far I have thought of Johns Hopkins University, University of Rochester, Northwestern University, Smith College, Boston College, and Emory University but I'm not sure if there are others. I will probably have to shrink the list down after I find out more but I would be really thankful if you could give me some other suggestions.

Are there any financial restrictions? What are your academic credentials like?

This is a common question. There’s a search button at the top of the screen.

Holy Cross top school near Boston has great pre-med program with very high med school acceptance rate.

I don’t have any financial restriction though it would be great to have some financial aid. As for my academic credentials, I have about a gpa of 3.7 (we have a 4.3 scale) and I actually haven’t taken an official SAT yet. But according to my practice tests, my score range is about 2000~2250. I know they’re only practice tests but they’re all I can base my college searches on.

Use the search feature, starburst95. There’s tons of good information about being pre-med on this site.
