Looking for schools with Operations Research programs to apply for

Hi everyone,

I'm currently looking for grad school/programs with Operations Research to apply for the upcoming Fall 2010 semester. My undergrad major was Business Administration (concentrations in Decision Sciences/Operations Research and Corporate Finance).

The current schools that are on my lists are:

Lehigh University - Management Science
RPI - ISE
Cornell - OR
USC - OR
Penn State University - OR (Dual title program, you'd have to apply through another program and be admitted, then apply for the OR program)
University of Wisconsin
University of Cincinnati
Case Western Reserve University - ORSC (Operations Research/Supply Chain)

I know most of these schools are a reach for me, and I was wondering if anyone that are in the field of IEOR would be willing to give me some suggestions for safety schools.

Thanks!

I hope you took a lot of math, probability and statistics courses along with your BBA courses. Operations Research is a very Statistics heavy grad program.

North Carolina State, Florida Institute of Technology both have PHD operations research programs. I’d consider NCS somewhat safe, and florida tech a safety.

Georgia Tech and Columbia are among the Top 7 in OR.

The other 5 are Northwestern, MIT, Cornell, Stanford, Cal.
