looking for transfer options, 3.9 gpa, 30 act, help!!

I’m looking to transfer spring or fall of 2021. I’m currently a freshman at a small, private college in the midwest, and would like to transfer 2nd semester sophomore year or first semester junior year.

I’ll take any suggestions, private or public, big or small, any location. I am looking for something cost effective, maybe a max. of 25k for tuition and fees, unless they offer really good scholarships to transfer students, but I’ll keep an open mind, I just need to get away from my school.

I have a 3.93 right now and it should get even higher over the next couple of semesters. I got a 30 on the act, but I can always retake it if necessary, I did choir this year and I had a job, I’m planning on doing a campus internship next semester and continuing to work as well.

please leave suggestions below :)))))))

Without a bit more detail, like where you are located, what is your home state and what is your major, it is very hard to give specific advice. The generic advice is to look at your state universities. They are probably the best bet for an affordable education.

Earn a high college GPA.

Consider your in-state public universities to see if they are within your price limit.

“a max. of 25k for tuition and fees”

Are you thinking roughly $40k total including living costs, books, travel, and incidentals?

Depending upon where you live, your in-state public universities might be the best bet. If we had more information, including what you are looking for, we might be able to suggest some other schools.

Why do you want to transfer? You say you are open to big or small, public of private, and any location. If you are so open to anything, why not stay where you are? What about your current school do you not like?

If the problem is just money, then your instate flagship is the obvious answer.
