Looking for UCD Admissions

The first 8 semester grades received are used.

i'm planning on like 4 APs senior yr
but this yr i only have 2 APs and 1 honors
my question is: how would it look if my schedule gets harder and harder each yr, and even senior yr when it's not looked at as much as 10-11 yrs?

I’m sorry for any confusion. Senior year is looked at just as much as the other years. We consider the workload and type of courses taken the senior year, however the grades received are not calculated into the GPA. It is great that you plan on taking additional AP courses your senior year. Just make sure that you are not overloading yourself; the UC campuses don’t want to see any “D/F” grades your senior year because you are taking too many AP courses. Continue to plan to challenge yourself for your senior year, The UC campuses notice.

i'm planning on taking AP chem my senior yr, only for the purpose of prepping for the chem class in college b/c i wanna do the pre-med reqs
so if i get a C or something, would that be really bad?

This will depend on the UC campus. For Davis one, maybe two, “C” grades your senior year shouldn’t be really bad, although we don’t recommend it.

AP GPA: Technically we take the first 8 semesters, no more than four in the sophomore year. However, mathematically it doesn’t matter which courses we take. Overall you still have 8 additional grade points.
