<p>Okay...I'm a freshman in HS and I'm just wondering what I could do to improve my chances for colleges. Please don't just say that I'm a freshman and I shouldn't care now...my sister got a really late start on college and I don't want to make the same mistake. </p>

9th grade: (New SAT - I've been taking these at home and consistently getting about these same results): 710 M, 660 CR 680 W</p>

<p>JUst to let you know, some of these are PLANS...like the APs. I know I can't possibly have everything go the way I plan it to. I just want to see if I'm going the right way. I understand if you don't take me seriously, I just want to know so I have 3 years to improve. I also know I need to work on those SATs...I think academically I'm okay...but not ECs.</p>
<p>BTW my colleges I'm looking at are: Michigan state, Colorado State, Brown, Dartmouth, Case Western, U of Virginia. Probably Ohio State as a backup.</p>
