Looking into Brown

Hey guys!
I’m a junior that’s looking into applying to Brown this Fall, probably early decision. I was looking into the college, and was wondering what kind of chances I might have in addition to some other info. I know that they try to get great people as much as great students, so I hope I can fall into one of those categories.

For Freshman and Sophomore year, I had an average of 94.91 weighted GPA.
So far Junior year, I have a weighted GPA of about 100-101. I’ve had honors math and science throughout high school. Next year, I’ll be taking 4 AP classes, honors english, and advanced video and film 2.

I got 660 reading, 680 math, 590 writing on SAT. I’m taking them again in May, and the ACT in June. I’m also taking Biology, Chemistry, and Math 2 Sat II in June.

I’ve been involved to a small degree with rugby, debate, student council, and math team. I’ve been consistently involved with the film club and FBLA. Also, I have been getting really involved with INTERACT lately (its a community service club at our high school.) I have been in scouts my entire life. I’ve held several positions, from chaplain’s aide to patrol leader. I’m currently a junior assistant scoutmaster, and am going to run for senior patrol leader soon. I am also going to start working on my Eagle project soon.

I have done a good amount of community service. Recently, I have been consistently doing community service for several hours at least once a month. I’ve done a lot, from retiring flags to helping organize basketball tournaments for charity.

So, what do you all think?
Also, if anyone could tell me what the social life is like at Brown, that would be great.

Go for it if you want to go there! Chance me threads have absolutely no validity. If Brown is your first choice, work hard to get there!

Thanks for the support! I saw some others, so I figured I might as well. I am pretty sure that it will end up being my first choice, but I still need to visit a lot more colleges. I am just hoping that they see my junior year as being a much more important factor than my previous years.
