Looking to be chanced for some New England/Northeast schools

I’m looking to be chanced for Skidmore College, Tufts University, Northeastern, BU (also does anyone know anything about Kilachand Honors College and its selectivity?), UMass Amherst Commonwealth Honors College/ UMass Amherst in general, Brown, Lesley University, UVM, and UConn. Any advice from anyone who has experience with any of these schools would be awesome.

GPA: 3.61 UW/ 4.1 Weighted
Class Rank: 17/183
ACT Composite: 31
SAT: 1300/1600, 2020/2400 (but probably sending only ACT)
AP scores (so far): 5 English Lang & Comp, 4 U.S. History

AP Environmental Science
AP US Gov & Politics
AP Studio Art
World Cultures Asia and Oceania
World Cultures Eastern Faiths
(^ these are essentially Anthropology classes)

All other classes have always been Honors level w/ the two additional AP’s junior yr.

EC:
-National Honor Society
-National Art Honor Society (President)
-Drama Society- Grades 9 & 10
-Track and Field- Grades 11 & 12
-Volunteer tutoring Burmese refugees in English and homework
-Volunteer at local public library
-currently part of a group of students raising money for a trip to the amazon rainforest- fundraiser money as well as other items will be donated to local communities in Peru, and we will spend several weeks teaching local elementary school students about the rainforest before our trip as well
-Employed as a ski instructor grades 9-12 with 20 hours a week of work through the winter so not a lot of time for other EC’s
-One year of modern dance (lol not helpful I know)

Why Lesley? Safety? Brown and Tufts really reaches, the rest look great.

When you visted UVM did you see St. Michael’s? You get free skiing at Smugglers as a student.

Lesley because I’m highly interested in visual art as well as possibly occupational therapy and child development in general and it’s a great school for these things, & brown and tufts are definitely my reaches!! also no I didn’t look at St Michael’s because so far I haven’t really been looking into Catholic colleges as I’m not religious, but free skiing at Smugg’s would definitely be a huge plus! :slight_smile: thanks for the input

Unweighted GPA is just below average for BU. The honors college there is invite only. You just check a box on common app to say you’re interested. They invite who they want.

I think GPA and, to a lesser extent scores, would also be on the low side of average for Northeastern.

Brown and Tufts would be reaches.
