Looking to Transfer and need advice

I currently attend Villanova university and am in the business school, but am looking to transfer. Reasons included are tuition cost, atmosphere, dull social scene at times, and sometimes I feel like I don't fit in. I am Indian and the lack of diversity is troubling. My SAT score is 1980 M-650 CR-650 W-680. ACT is 29. My GPA in high school was a 3.8. I also got at 4.3 senior year. Currently I have good grades in all my classes except a culture course in which the teacher is unfair. If I pull off a 3.5 or above at what schools should I look at?, that may have more diversity and allow for maybe a better social life. UVA is my main option and it is in state.

Any advice would be appreciated.

bump can anybody offer some comparable schools and what GPA i would need

Where else were you admitted last year, and why did you choose Villanova over those places? Start with that list.

If you are from Virginia, UVA and the other state institutions there should be at the top of your list. Financial aid for transfer students is harder to come by than it is for first year students. If you’ve found out that money is a way bigger issue than you’d expected, you could consider going to one of the VA community colleges and completing a guaranteed transfer program that would get you into the VA university you want to finish at.
