Looking to transfer from a CCC in two years, but do I need to complete the IGETC for these schools?

Hi so I’m looking to transfer to a UC from a (California) community college in two years but I don’t know if I should complete the IGETC OR go for the major prep courses. I plan to major in electrical engineering and I’m looking to transfer to UCSD, UCLA, UCB, UCSB, UCI, and UCR. Probably throwing in Cal Poly SLO in there. Apparently some of these schools require the IGETC to transfer while others don’t? I know for sure that Berkeley discourages doing the IGETC for Engineering majors and recommends doing the major prep path, but I’m not sure about the others. Anyone know which schools I need to complete the IGETC for and which ones I don’t need to complete and just do the major prep path?

Hopefully this made sense lol, thanks in advance!

TL;DR - EE major, transferring to top UCs + UCR, Which schools do I need to do the IGETC path and which schools do I NOT do the IGETC path and just do the major prep path?

You need to talk to a pre-engineering counselor at your c.c.
