Looking to transfer to a top business school, advice?

I'm from NY, and I'm currently a sophomore finance major at Temple University's Fox School of Business. While I like Philadelphia, I'm struggling at Temple and do not believe it is the best fit for me. I also struggled a lot last year causing my GPA to be pretty terrible. Is there any way I can transfer to a top 50 business school for my junior year based on my stats? Or am I stuck here. Honest answers please. Here are my stats:

High School-
GPA: 3.7
SAT: 1760
EC: Varsity athlete, Model United Nations, National Honor's Society, Jazz band
(I could name other stuff but I suppose high school stats don't really matter as much)

College-
First semester: 3.0 GPA
Second semester: 2.5 GPA ***
EC: Financial Management Association, Grassroots AIDS HIV Charity, Intramural soccer

**I struggled a great deal and had a lot of problems in my second semester of freshman year, and I failed calculus. I am currently retaking calculus this semester and doing a whole lot better.

Realizing that my GPA was very poor my first year, I've been working harder than ever before now to bring up my terrible freshman grades. If I apply for a transfer at the end of this semester, I'll have one good semester to show. Is that good enough? Schools I'm interested in applying to:
USC Marshall
UNC Kenan Flagler
Vanderbilt
Indiana University Kelley

know these are all reach schools with my low GPA, but they accept a fair amount of transfers. Could I somehow get into the general school for one of these universities and transfer into the business school at a later point? Any advice would be appreciated. How can I compensate for my terrible grades freshman year? Are there any additional schools that would be a good fit for me?

I love schools that have a lot of school spirit and D1 sports teams, but I would like to find a school that has a bit more of a traditional campus as opposed to Temple's "vertical" campus.

My impression is that transfer students with a 3.5 GPA look good to a lot of schools. Top schools prefer a 3.7 or higher. They won’t look at your high school record. If you want to finish in 4 years, you want to transfer into a school that will accept you into their business program. Many schools list a minimum transfer GPA on their web site. I’d recommend you set your sights lower and remain determined to get a good education regardless of which school you graduate from.

Why transfer? Temple is not bad. With your grades, you cannot “upgrade” your school choices. The HS grades will not be considered in decision making so you mind as well stick it out.
