Looking to transfer to Stanford from a CC...help please?

Well I am CC student really looking at Stanford to complete my BS in Math or Physics. The problem with me is that I am bit of a late bloomer and only really started thinking about college last year. So, my high school GPA is only 3.7 and I was homeschooled.

However, I just started at the CC, and I am becoming pretty much involved: I am in a really rigorous honors society specifically tailored for successful transfer to UC's and CSU's, including UCLA. I am also a member of a statewide CC honors society.

What I was really wanting to know, how can I increase my chances of getting in to Stanford? I was thinking of running for student government and joining another club or two. What about internships? What else can I do?

All help or experience from fellow Stanford transfers/transfer hopefuls will really be appreciated.

Thank you!

Almost zero unless you play one of the major sports well or have an incredible resume. Remember Stanford has a very low dropout rate therefore little need accept transfers.
And no offense but if you consider your CC program to be rigorous then you probably are not a good fit for Stanford.

Plus homeschooled GPAs mean nothing in college admissions departments.

The good news that if UCLA or UCB is your fall back I think you will be in good hands.
