I am currently in 8th grade applying for 9th grade.

I have a 3.6 GPA.

I play 5 sports, 3 of which I am captain for.

I am in select band, jazz ensemble, I play 4 different instruments and have been playing for 5 years.

I am editor-in-chief for yearbook and I am head photographer.

I got the community service award for most hours (136) in a year.

I have all A's and B's.

My weakness was the ssat's where I got in the 70%.

Do you think I have any chance of getting into Loomis Chaffee or Kent.

You
re in good shape if you don
t need too much FA. Good luck. :)

Thanks Maddog15 :)

do you think I have any chance of getting into Taft or Choate???

or to just stick with loomis and kent???

Go for it. There is a girl, w/ name, Gabie on cc. She got into Exeter w/ your scores.

I think you have good thread and you should try applying to Exeter, Andover, Choate,… g’ luck with your choice. Beacause you have wide range of extra curricular’s and (playing 4 instrument and 5 sports is amazing). You are applying for 2011-2012 school year, right?

I think you’ll get in, however, it would help if you studied for and retook the SSAT. I need to work on that, too.

I have no time to retake the ssat :frowning: and thanx lovelylife nn ameripen… yes I am applying 2011-12… but I think exeter and andover would probably be pretty long shots  …

hey yankeefan1234: what was your SSAT score? :)

70% (94% nationally)
