I have a 3.48 average freshman gpa. I am guessing I will have a 3.85 to 4.0 sophomore gpa. I will be applying to repeat sophomore year. I am assuming I will test in the 88th to 95th percentile, I play soccer, extremely competitive hockey, and baseball. I have interviewed at Milton, Taft, and Kent, and was told I did very well. I will interview at deerfield, choate and Loomis, later in the fall, I will be applying to repeat 10th grade. I am from California. I have great connections with Choate, Milton, and Deerfield (which are my top 3).

anything would help. Sorry for how sloppy i wrote this. I didn’t put much thought or time into it.

That last comment isn’t the most positive sign, but aim to get a solid interview and great essay and you should have a decent chance.

In fact, you should get into Kent.

I’m at loomis, as a day student, and you should be able to get in, I don’t see why not. For the other schools though, if your athletics are good enough, you should get in.

Great. I’m sure all those schools will love that.

@harvardrox, please stop bashing people. Nobody’s a shoo in, and if you don’t have anything constructive to say, please don’t say it. Also, how do you know that Andover loves people with 99% IQs. Where would you even put that on the app?

I’m sorry if I offended anybody. It irritates me when people don’t put effort into their questions.

Having a high IQ would set you apart from other applicants in a good way. It would definitely impress the admissions officers.

I’m a member of Mensa and the Top One Percent Society, so I included those as some of my activities.

I agree that you should definitely stand a strong chance with these schools if your interview went well and your essays are good.
