So I took the ACT blind and got a 31 :-/ I'm not that happy about it, but I think it's okay because my subsection scores were 33 in English 34 in Reading 31 in Science BUT I got a 26 in math.
I really need to improve my math score, is there hope yet for me to get it above a 30? Also, I know I can do better on science, and I can get my reading to a 36.
SO I was wondering if it was likely for my other sections to go down on a second try when I try to improve my Math score?

Thanks

I had almost the exact same problem as you, except I wanted to improve both math and science. First time around, I got a 36 on the reading, I think a 31 or 32 on english(I’m not positive what it was), and then a 28 in science and 29 in math. It’s definitely worth retaking it to try to improve your math score. However, your other scores might fluctuate a little bit, but not by much. They’ll fluctuate just because it only takes two or three questions wrong to make a difference between a 35 and a 36 on one section. So while all my other sections went up my second time around, my 36 in reading went down to a 33. So I’m guessing your english score might go down 1 or 2 points, but not necessarily. Just make sure that while you focus on improving your math score, you still spend some time reviewing the other sections.
