Lopsided SAT score- what does this mean for chances?

This is actually my second thread about this, but I figure this section has more of a readership than HS Life.
I just got my SAT scores- 800/620/800. Yeah, I know.
So the cumulative score is 2220, which as a score is definitely good- much more than I was hoping for my first try without studying.
First of all, THIS IS TOTALLY HYPOTHETICAL. I am restudying math and will be retaking it. But anyway:
If a competitive college were to see my stats (let's just say, for example, Columbia, or lower down), what conclusions would they draw? Would it be considered as a 2220. good but not of the caliber they're used to? Would it be considered 620- stinky math score? Would it be considered 800s- wow?
To be more specific, I'm applying to an honors college that requires a 1400/1600, which unfortunately means that my writing score is irrelevant. I right now have a 1420. The higher my score, the greater likelihood I'll get a partial or even full scholarship. Is the 800 enough to wow them, or is that second math score going to be necessary?
Also, as reading and writing 800s seem to be significantly less common than math 800s, is this going to be for me or against me? Is it going to be considered wow, she did something reasonably uncommon, or whoa, math is so much more common and she couldn't even end up in the 80th percentile?
Sorry if this is long or weirdly written- I was just in the car for three hours and haven't gotten sleep for about a week :). Actually, :(.
Thanks!

I’m pretty sure most schools look at individual section scores on the SAT and the composite on the ACT, so yes, they will notice the 620. The 620 will hurt you for the school that only uses CR + M. You should definitely retake and try to bring that up. Good news is that the math section is the easiest to improve :)
