LOR Request

I received a LOR request. However, I did not submit a LOR, would this impact my chances?

On your application, would it state that the student has been invited to submit a LOR? If not, then if I don’t submit a LOR, the admission officer would have no way of knowing that I was invited for LOR and just think that I was of the 80% that was not invited for LOR.

I am not sure how they send out LORs, I got my LOR a few days later - so probably my scores/ GPA as borderline since there is no way that they have read it yet,

34 ACT (36Math - not sure if this helps as I am applying for Math), 800 Math II Phys SAT, 6 APs (all 5),
4.0 GPA

However, I have very good awards, essays, and extracurricular - top 10 in two national (England) math and science competitions.

From what I know the LORs were only a pilot test this year and will not impact your acceptance chances positively or negatively at all. You have great stats. Relax and stop worrying. A 4.0 uw GPA is nothing to be scoffed at and a 34 ACT is excellent as well. Nothing is certain in besides death and taxes (and sometimes death by taxes) so all you should think is that you have a great shot. 36 in the math subsection is material also

@khanam Thanks, I got in :stuck_out_tongue:
