OK, I'm really losing motivation to study. I'm looking at the Official SAT Study Book, and I really don't feel like studying. Im taking the June 5th SAT, and I'm procrastinating, which is scaring me. SAT Study is actually pretty fun, because it's a refreshing feeling to break away from the usual school studying. It's friday, and I just got back from shoveling snow, and I don't feel like studying.

Well study in bits at a time and have things around you at reach when you have free time to study. I want to make one of those mobile things with like notes on it and hang it over my bed, LOL it’s a half joke. It’s actually a good idea though, dozing off thinking about the SATs.
I got a SAT prep game for my Nintendo DS, Ir eally like it and it offers things the book doesn’t like statistics and tips based on your statistics. You can even take the real thing in chunks so like 25 questions here, 30 there.
I have been studying for literally 3 hours today (I’m taking them in May) and I find it’s best not to overdue it, keep a balance. Take a break and do some school work, stuff for your extra curriculars, shovel snow play with your pets, chill with your family, have a snack, exercise, play video games, etc. I find I actually do better and stay more consistant with studying for it when I do it this way.

You’re taking it in June. Take it easy. You have plenty of time to practice. Try to do a couple practice sections every week, until about a month before the test. At this point, you should be doing full practice tests to practice.

I would think that it’s because your test date is so far away. I think it’s better to forget about hardcore practice for now, and just do QOTD and patrol this forum. After AP exams (may) start practicing hardcore, like doing practice tests and such… you’d be so much more efficient and super motivated… one month to get your target score.

^that would work for me, because it kind of works with my personality, maybe it could work for you too.

Thanks guys, hey im going for a 1900+ to put me in the 2000s for the October 2010 SAT. (From a 1530 on my PSAT) Which is why I am trying to study so early. Oh and @MikeyShen that’s what I usually gets me to study, but its still like “Ugh…”

Close your eyes, and imagine yourself going to an institution of higher education filled with idiots, morons, 40 year olds, and some more idiots.
Yeah that’s right, you’ve guessed it.
COMMUNITY COLLEGE

But in all seriousness, just study a few hours a week whenever you have some free time and feel good, don’t force yourself, but don’t become a slacker either.
