damn, 7 hours of sleep!!!! i am happy if i manage to get 4 hours.

any second of free time in school you have spend it on hw..i.e.- option time, lunch, if you have a sub in a class, elective, etc.

sign off AIM while doing hw on the computer...i promise you will save time

if your library is close to your house consider doing work there...i always get work done more quickly in the library b/c its boring and there are 0 distractions (usually)

stay on top of your work. NEVER get behind.

plan your week the weekend before

try to be absent as little as possible

avoid staying up really late on the weekends because it may throw off your sleeping pattern

i do my homework at school... :D

easy...

just get it in a school day.

coffee + tea work wonders (and yes, u can get un-addicted afterwards)

coffee in the morning. but u won't wake up till noon cause it takes a few hours for it to work. so u sacrifice ur morning classes, but whatever right?

coffee RIGHT AFTER u get home. again, takes some time for it to work, so have it right after u walk thru the door.

have a pot of tea (black tea recommanded, green/pekot works too) as ur doing ur hmk

combination of 2-3 will keep you EXTREMELY vigilant during 9pm - 2am.

What he said.

what about chinese tea? i got one from our trip to Hong Kong and it says, "Promotes good sleeping and memory", but when my uncle, who is a doctor, read it, he was all, "now it's not. it has caffeine".

plus, i heard that chinese tea is bad for teens ages 13 to 17. true or false?

Ages 13 to 17? What a specific age range.

i only read the first page posts, but this is what i think:

i know what you are going through, but its a hustle. sometimes to be successful you have to sacrafice the luxury, in this case, sleep. i mean do you only have 4 classes? (i'm assuming you take 4 this semester and 4 the next semester) if you can, try to do some last minute studying in your other classes when you are done or the teacher is through. just stay in it and be strong, and when the weekend comes, just knock yourself out and let loose.....

I agree with the poster who said that you should limit your homework time to one hour per subject initially, and then go back to finish whatever is left. This strategy would allow less time for getting stuck on difficult concepts.

when you take a difficult courseload, the key is to make decisions and decide what your going to do and not do... thers no way anyone has teh time to do it all..... my suggestion is to focus first on getting done graded assignments, and then do all the other work if you have time (i.e. reading, studying etc...)
