Lotto

If you won the lotto, and you got 100 mil. after taxes, would you still go to college? Why or why not.

Of course I would! I'm gonna go to learn some things, not because it's my place in society (well, that too). But still, even PAYING for college would be like a penny out of a hundred mil. You must be kidding me.

lol. I wouldn't. No motivation. I would know that if I screwed up it really wouldn't matter, because I had 100 mil to fall back on.

i'd invest it in hedge funds, real estate, and money market accounts. Then i'd just live off 50% of the profits made from the funds, and leave the other 50% to compound for my future generations. However, I might give some of the money away to the colleges that I like. :p

I know I would :p. But I will be partying 24/7 plus I might go to a more football/Greek school instead of my current. So I guess Ill be partying, tailgating and all that fun stuff everyday.

But then again, its my dream to help ppl and become a Physician. So i guess ill study too.... Plus Ill learn some much about life in college

Yeah I would.
It would be so boring just sitting back on the money, doing nothing. I'd rather go to college (supposedly the best 4 years of one's life) and get a job (although the job I picked would probably end up being based on what sounded the most fun instead of what would make me the most money) and then retire whenever the job got boring or just go back to college and change jobs.
That would be fun.

Imagine what school you could get into with 100 mil.

Since I wouldn't have any financial motivations, I'd try to get a bunch of Ph.D.s and I'd probably become a professor or a researcher. Then, I'd go to the beach and chill.

I would go to college and get a degree in something impractical and then get my Ph.D. in it. Then I would become a choreographer.

See? Foolproof.

I would definitely go to college anyway. Rather than pick a major I like, but one that will leave me living in a cardboard box, I would be able to pick a major I like, which is also one that will leave me living in a mansion with a lot of money.

Yes. Although after college I might use the money to travel to conservation parks in other countries and volunteer, rather than actually get a paying job.

I would donate the money after I take about a million for college tuition and living expenses. The rest is to charity.

definitely. and I wouldn't have to worry about paying for it!

no chance.

Don't be silly. Of course not.
