so, which one would it be?

duh...one mil. baby, all the way

I'll take the million.

1 million and then go to a public university and work my way up. Seriously this is a no brainer

million...but below $300k or so its a diff story

the million...then attend my dream school. (nice donation to the school)

The million, and then I'd go off to California anyway and study at my second-choice college. :)

So 1 million after taxes..........compared to 7 years@$60,000. one could actually call this even.....

Are you kidding???

1 million, easy

I'd go to a public univ. like UCONN and pay it off immediately. Then I could use the remaining cash to help myself move forward.

1 million, invest (some of) it, and enjoy life, forget the books.

1 million and then try to win the lottery with it.

1 million..

everyone is going to think this sounds stupid, but Id much rather get into my top school. money to me is nothing unless ive earned it.

But what if you can't afford your top school?

lollipop, you'd take admission you didn't earn though?

You could buy your way in with the $1 mill.

I don't think so........

I'd take the million. Even if I did get into my top-choice school, I couldn't afford it. Then I'd pay for my second choice with the money ;-).

i'd actually take the top school (assuming you can only have one or the other, not both). as long as i deserved it though..either way i'd feel somewhat guilty... i guess if i worked really hard and got the grades, i'd feel that i deserved the dream college education, but not the million dollars.

anyhow, if i went to a place like yale, i'd (hopefully!) be financially secure for the rest of my life ;)
