<p>Ahhh isent it so nice for ETS to make such an easy test for us students to take? I mean all you have to do is figure out the little tricks and then its so easy to get a high score... I love it. I can't believe anyone would complain about the SAT its so easy.. it truly separates the dumb from the intelligent, I mean.. when I hear about kids getting low scores I want to smack them I mean cmon have you had a 7th grade education? </p>

<p>Guys cruise through the SAT and get into college its not that hard.</p>

<p>Guide to kickass SAT score:</p>

<p>Math:</p>

<p>All of the math is based on little tricks to confuse you. The actual math is simple algebra. They try to trick you with word problems, and if the problem seems too long there IS a shortcut. Eg - one time a problem wanted you to add up the first 80 digits of a sequence. If you were at all clever you saw that the first 78 digits cancelled and added the last two. If you arent clever.... Also GIVE REAL VALUES. If they say there are N students in a class you put n = 50 or n = 100 or something so when they start giving you fractions it doesnt get complicated.</p>

<p>CR:</p>

<p>Omg how easy is this. Ok, you should study vocab.. I will admit, but usually you dont even need to know that. For the reading passages, if any practice book suggests you do the questions without reading the passage BURN IT. The ETS guys are very nice. They ask their questions in order so the first question might be "In lines 3-6..." and then "for lines 9-13".. etc. So READ the story, but in chunks. Skip the general overall questions and do them last</p>

<p>Writing:</p>

<p>Again, simple tricks guys. Figure them out. Proper tenses of verbs, possesives ("the boys wanted to be a pilot" = WRONG cant be the same pilot), sentences that dont make sense ("flying over the city, the people looked up at the military jet" = WRONG people dont fly), etc LEARN THE TRICKS THEY ONLY HAVE SO MANY</p>

<p>Essay:</p>

<p>This is so easy anyone who gets under 11 should be spanked. Find a buddy who got a 12 on his essay and have him email it to you. Read it 80 times and memorize all his clever sentences which were worthy of a 12. For your essay, modify it a bit to fit your prompt, but still use his thesis and clever essay writing skills to boost your grade. And NO this is not cheating.. every book tells you to plan an essay in advance, its flawless</p>

<p>one wrong on math - stupid error = 770
2 wrong on writing - again, stupid = 760
4 wrong CR, I don't know how the heck I got any wrong = 750</p>

<p>I was shocked I got so many wrong :(</p>

<p>The last hundred or so points are the hardest to cover!</p>

<p>I know kids who can get 2300 consistently, but what's holding them back from a 2400 is literally a 6/7 essay score, I'm not kidding! So some people have weaknesses that are rather hard to correct, even with a lot of prep.</p>

<p>Hey, you almost broke 2300, do a retake and you'll be in that range for sure. I somewhat agree with you... after you've taken a few practice tests, some of the questions just come to you.</p>
