<p>I got a 22 on the ACT, but a 10 on the writing section which is in the top 96%. I was expecting this because I'm not very good at standardized tests, but I think I'm a good writer. How will colleges view this, and how high is a 10 on the ACT writing on the 800 SAT scale? Thanks.</p>
<p>the writing portion is somewhat of an afterthought. Most schools dont look at the witing. With a 22 you can get into most state schools. Im not sure of the SAT breakdown but from my experience its easy to bs the essay and get a good score.</p>
