low ACT score!HELP!!

I am a junior in high school and going to be a senior in the fall.I got a 24 on my ACT,and I accidentally sent my score to 4 of the colleges that I want to go to(U Conn,UNC Chapel Hill,Fordham U and Penn State). I am worrying about my low 24 Act score since I had already sent it. And then I got an 1850 on the June SAT and I am going to take it again and aim for 1900+. Anyway, will my low ACT affects my admission ? :( Thank you !

If you hit the 1900, most schools will say “hallelujah” and be happy you applied (maybe not UNC though)

i know unc is hard to get it.thats say that i get a 1900+ on sat, does the 24 on act matter anymore?

Well, the first thing I’d note – what’s done is done.

Most schools say that they take your highest ACT (relatively few superscore, I think). If your SAT is higher, they use that instead (more will superscore your SAT).

So, if you get the 1900+ on the SAT, the old ACT score will likely not matter much, if at all. Of course, this will depend on the school.

Good luck.

thank you :)
