Low AMC but high AIME?

<p>Should I report my AMC score? I got only 94.5 on the AMC 12, but I got an 8 on the AIME (which really should have been a 9, I forgot to fill one in on the scan tron, but I wrote the answer in my booklet and it was the right answer). 94.5 is my highest AMC 12 score, my others were lower or were AMC 10.</p>

<p>I will certainly report my AIME, but what about the AMC? Should I report that (considering it’s barely above the cutoff)</p>

<p>I wouldn’t bother… 94.5 is about average for MIT applicants I think.</p>

<p>While I don’t think the average MIT applicant is an AIME qualifier (I know many who didn’t make AIME but got into MIT, since they weren’t applying as math majors anyway), I probably won’t bother to list it.</p>
