low gpa- a diagnosis during jr year

hello everyone. I was diagnosed with ADHD- Inattentive Type this winter and I was wondering if it was possible for me to push my 2.846 to a 3.0 by the end of the year?
I want to get a decent GPA to finish but because of chemistry and geometry, I'm not sure if this is a possibility.

Courses I'm taking:

AP English Lit (currently a B)
U.S. History (currently a B+)
Geometry (currently a C)
Chemistry (currently a C) - (last semester I got a D+)
Spanish (currently a B+)

Hypothetically, if I end up with a 3.40 GPA by the end of the year, what will that do to my G.P.A? I have no idea how to figure it out so I would really appreciate some help. Thanks!

If you want to end up with a 3.4 GPA this year, you have your work cut out for you. A B+ is usually valued at 3.3, so a 3.4 is just a little bigger than a B+ average. You have no grades higher than a B+, so you are certainly not looking at a 3.4 average right now.
Your current GPA for this year is (3 + 3.3 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 3.3)/5 = 2.72

If you want the 3.4 average, you need some As.

Some colleges will consider coursework taken between junior and senior year into the gpa. You could find a CC class you can excel in and take that over the summer. That will show the admissions people your upward trend and your ability to do college level work. A late diagnosis is often taken into consideration when they review your GPA.

If you are taking medicine, it should be attainable. I was diagnosed with ADHD in March of sophomore year and I'm a senior now. My math grades especially increased. Just take your meds, push past the laziness, and motivate yourself!
