<p>how do you guys think with my low gpa but high SAT/ACT will affect my admissions?</p>
<p>actually i took tough math and science courses but because i wasn’t too great my GPA suffered. do i really look good for UC’s? those are the schools i mainly want to get into..</p>

<p>UCLA isn’t a safety. It’ll be only a little easier than Berkeley. Lucky that you are in state for the UCs.
UT-Austin may be difficult because you’re OOS.
I think MIT is a HR, but other than these differences agree with grantortue’s estimations.</p>
<p>I agree with Neo, grantortue doesn’t really seem to know how college admissions work, no offense. I’m extremely well versed on the UCs, and I would say that UCLA and UCB are reaches for you, though you have a fair shot at the rest.</p>
