bump…

Why are you continuing to bump? I don’t understand what else you want to know, you have received several accurate responses…

I just took the SAT again today and am expecting a 760-800 in math. Would that change my chances at all? I’m concerned that my GPA and SAT are becoming more and more distant…

No, if anything it might hurt your chances. Your math score was already good, if anything you would have wanted to raise your CR. Also as your said the higher your SAT the more it does not align with your GPA,

Ah! I realized I said I’d chance back but I am unfamiliar with several of the schools on your list. I’ll do the schools that I know:

U Miami - Low Reach
V Tech - Reach

Your SAT score is good and extracurriculars are great, but you’re right that your GPA is holding you back. I would try to explain your GPA in an essay somewhere because otherwise colleges might think that you aren’t trying in school!

Mellon123 I am a father and I know exactly what you mean by teachers. But 3.2 is not teachers , it is you. But, doesn’t matter you have decent scores and not very high aspirations. I think except for WUSTL, you should apply to all other schools and you also should look for some safeties. Mostly in your state so that it is not expensive tomorrow. Mind you pick your safeties carefully and indulge in your REACHES.

“ArtsyGirl13, I know that it sounds extremely unlikely that so many teachers have adversely affected my GPA but it is true”

No it’s not true; it’s all on you buddy. I had a 65 year old Physics AP teacher who mumbled around at the board for 15 minutes giving us lousy notes, and then disappeared from the classroom for the other 65 minutes. He’s not the only one. We’ve all had our share of bad teachers, so stop whining.
