Low gpa. Honest chances please!!

Hello, I'm new to CC but I've read many great posts on here previously, finally decided to make one! Anyways, I need HONEST but not RUDE opinions of my college chances.

Quick Bio: Average student freshman year but encountered family problems (forced to move out from parents home because of stress from them arguing, transferred schools, supported myself with after school job) during sophomore & junior year of high school. I realized my mistakes I made and had a strong upward trend senior year. Currently a fifth year senior, gpa has continued to rise. Maintained a 3.2 semester gpa since senior year but my cummulative gpa is barely 2.0. I've talked to college counselors from all of these schools and they all seem very understanding of my situation.. Most said their school would most likely look past my gpa and focus on my semester grades upward trend, EC's and test scores. Currently attend a private tribal school. ACT 19 & SAT 1370. Awaiting new ACT scores and scheduled to retake SAT in a few weeks. I'm also an enrolled tribal member. I'm considered OOS for all schools except WSU.

EC's:
Varsity Cheerleader-2 years
Varsity Basketball-1 year
Varsity Volleyball-1 year
Assistant Cheer Coach-1 year (this year)
Leadership Member
Native American Club- 5 years
100+ volunteer hours with cancer patients
Work experience (2 jobs)

Major: Philosophy

Schools applied to:

Syracuse University ED- rejected
Miami University EA- Deffered to reg. admissions
U of Alabama- Awaiting new test scores..website said my freshman deposit waived?
U of Mississippi- Awaiting new test scores
U of Connecticut- No word
U of Mass-No word
Washington State University-No word
U of Arizona-Awaiting new test scores.
Clemson Univ-Awaiting new test scores
Trinity College- No word
Hobart & William Smith-No word (interview went great, counselor was understanding)
Ohio University-No word.

I know that HWS & Trinity are huge reaches. My heart is set on Miami but I'm very excited about Alabama & Ole Miss!

Hav you considered a CC transfer? You can make it to most of them if you take that route.

Nevertheless, most of the rest of the schools on your list are high matches since you’ll have to rely on your ECs to get in. I expect you to be admitted to at least one of the schools on your list.
