I'm currently a Sophomore at the University of Washington pursing a BS/BA in Political Science.
After this quarter I will be a junior, so I don't really have much time left to boost my GPA.
If I calculate my future grades right, I can have a 3.1 or 3.2 by the end of my Junior year. Higher if I 4.0 everything, but that's rather unlikely.

I also hope to score a good LSAT score. 165+ Standardized testing has always been fine for me, and I figure I'll start studying for it now.

So assuming a 3.1 GPA (+/- 1)... and 165+ LSAT....

Anyway, I'm interested in going to Cornell Law. I've heard lots of people use this school as their backup for T-20s? Well this would have to be my #1 choice.
Many applicants who get in to Cornell seem to choose a different school they are accepted to. Does this give me some chance to still get accepted? Or is my GPA too low to be even considered at all?

Can someone also please give me some extra curricular ideas to spruce up my application to any law school for that matter? I currently have a part-time job and I'm an avid webmaster/developer of a number of sites related to internet marketing.

Any help is much appreciated. Thank you so much CC. You got me through High School and into a good University. I had a rough start, initially only with a goal to earn a bachelors degree, but I'm looking to turn it around and further my education.

Edit:
It seems that Law schools will look at ALL your transcripts from colleges you've attended. Well I earned transfer credit from when I was in High School, entering UW with a transfer GPA of 3.0. So if it balances out, I could probably end up with a 3.3 or 3.4 cumulative between the two transcripts!! But I still want to know my chances or any tips you have. Thanks!
