<p>Anyone out there that is low income and OOS? How are you guys planning on paying for UW?</p>
<p>I’m out of state and got accepted but I don’t think I can afford it. T_T. The only aid I got was in loans. No grants. No scholarships.</p>
<p>I’m oos and can’t go. My parents can neither fork out 20,000 in cash every year NOR get a line of credit for 20k every year too.</p>
<p>Consider a community college at first. For OOS students, you’d be looking at around 8k for the first year, and in-state tuition after that as long as you complete the requirements. Compared to UW’s 24k/year (and rising), you’d save a ton, and still get your degree from UW after you transfer.</p>
<p>Ouch. Consider applying to all and any scholarships that you qualify for
