My science gpa freshman year was a 2.85 while my freshman accounting gpa was a 1.8. I want to go to graduate school but am confused on which is the most realistic option for me. Which is better, because with the PT route i can make an average prereq gpa while with the Accounting route my gpa will be subpar? The catch is Accounting classes are easier than science classes.
I think you’ll have to improve your GPA to get in any graduate level program.
Youi are borderline for continuing in your undergrad program, let alone going to grad school.
You will not be competitive for PT school admit where most candidates have well over a 3.5 GPA
But my prereq gpa could get up to 3.6
How could you get up to a 3.6 if you currently have a 2.85? That seems impossible.
Not only does it actually not possible (like, even if you got straight As you wouldn’t be able to raise it that high), it also seems improbable (if heretofore you have mostly been getting Cs and Bs, why would you suddenly start getting straight As?)
I think you should focus getting your gpa up to 3.0 level before thinking about graduate school. Also pick the route that you will enjoy the most. What do you see your self as most accounting or physical therapist .
