Hi guys and girls. I'm international student from 3rd World country (not sure if it can impact on my application). I'm very passionated about computers.
my stats:
SAT>: 1900
SAT subjects: 700 Math II, 700 physics
GPA: 4.0 I'm valedictorian
EC's: cross country(captain), school government(president), volonteering, doing reasearch9about computers).
Awards: a lot of awards in national, regional olimpyadas.

additional information: my school is the best in my country (not sure if it can help).
male, asian...

will be very glad if you can give me some feedbacks. Also, if you want me to chance you, I will be very pleased.

Take the SAT again. You can still register late for the December test, I think, or call the testing place and see if you can test as a standby. Prepare with number2.com (a computer program that targets your weaknesses.) That 1900 is going to hurt you at the schools where your record (#1 student at the #1 school of an ultra competitive country) would be most appreciated.
Will you need financial aid?
You should look into Olin, HarveyMudd, obviously CalTech, MIT, RIT, Grinnell, Lafayette, Connecticut, Lehigh.

Right now, these schools are all high reaches due to your SAT score.
For instance, CMU only admits about 6% for CS: that’s even more selective than Harvard. They do not give financial aid to internationals.
Berkeley requires your family to have $50,000 before they’ll issue your I-20 (no financial aid).
So, will you need financial aid?
You need to hedge your bets with matches and safeties ( pick 3-4 schools from the list I gave you above) unless you have a safety school* at home that you’d be happy attending.
(*= a school you’re sure you will get into, like, and can afford)

^ Then the reality is you need a big improvement in SAT1 (and perhaps SAT2 too) in order to get into those top schools in US as an international student.

If you’re fine with odds 1:20 being in the US next Fall and 19:20 being in your home country, then all is fine.
Otherwise, try to find universities you like but which aren’t “wild cards” (ie., where the average SAT is 2000 or so and with admission rates of 20% or more).
Since you’re full pay, look into Umichigan, UVA, UCLA, and UCSD in addition to UCB .
