Low SAT for Valedictorian?

Take the ACT, I’m aware that your concern is actually legitimate-- the SAT abuses mutiple choice to the max with partial answers or “choose the bes” to just make you get problems wrong even if you know how to do them plus that 1/4 penalty. ACt doesn’t do this, it’s straightup skill, no worthless comprehension (I thought that was the reading section, oh wait that’s just a bunch of vocabulary) in a math section and the reading sections actually tests your reading comprehension.

The problem is you’re looking at your SATs the wrong way. Colleges look at the scores INDIVIDUALLY, not altogether. IF you got a 700+ on each section, then that would certainly reflect your high class rank and thus you s have a great chance for college.

and your counselor sounds like a complete ******, you should probably report that to the principal or Board of Education

I have the same problem but worse. Im ranked 1/480 but I have a low SAT score for some of the places im applying to. I am horrrible at standardized tests and I got a 1980. Im waiting for act score to come… but honestly, youre gonna be fine. Except the fact that most schools do not superscore!
