So I took the physics subject test in June and got 700 on it. If I want to major in engineering (aerospace), would this score hurt me? Should I retake it? I have a 800 on the math II subject test. I also would have taken multivariable/differential equations/linear algebra by senior year for hs. The schools I would be looking at Georgia Tech, Purdue, UMich, Embry Riddle. (Btw my GPA is 4.1-4.2W, 3.8-3.9 UW, SAT 2000-2200)

eh bump =/

I would retake it only if you feel you can do significantly better.

For the schools you’re looking at, that score is adequate.

monstor: I dunno, on practice tests I got 720-800 (All princeton review ones). Average was about 750. I heard that the curve was hard the time I took it, but maybe it was just someone’s excuse?

kwu: You sure? Even for UMich and Georgia Tech?

georgia tech doesnt require SAT 2 tests, at least they didn’t when my daughter applied two yrs ago

Thanks, I’ll check on that. If what you said is true, does that mean that they will not look at it at all?
